As the Head of Compliance (f/m/d) within a leading super management company overseeing AIFM & UCITS operations across diverse product portfolios, you will assume a pivotal role in safeguarding regulatory integrity and mitigating compliance risks for our organization, its subsidiaries, and associated funds. Working closely with a dedicated local team within the overarching Risk & Compliance Department, you will spearhead initiatives to identify, assess, monitor, report, advise on, and mitigate compliance-specific risks impacting our operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the management of compliance-related risks, including analyzing new initiatives, conducting AML/CTF assessments on investments and stakeholders, and managing conflicts of interest and complaints.
  • Maintain and coordinate the entity's compliance policies and control framework, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and collaboration with other control functions at both local and divisional levels.
  • Facilitate knowledge dissemination by coordinating regulatory and organization-specific training sessions, tailoring materials to local requirements, and conducting training for employees and board members.
  • Stay abreast of legal and regulatory developments, actively participating in internal regulatory update groups and ensuring timely implementation of new requirements.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to management on compliance matters, leveraging participation in local and global committees, working groups, and projects, and providing comprehensive reporting to internal and external stakeholders.

Experience:

  • Demonstrated professional experience in compliance within the investment funds industry (8 years or more), with previous experience as a regulatory compliance officer.
  • Preferably, experience leading a small team.
  • Strong expertise in compliance, AML/CTF, and regulatory requirements under AIFMD and UCITS.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a knack for setting up and optimizing processes to enhance organizational value.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and German, with proficiency in French considered advantageous.
  • A collaborative team player accustomed to working in an international setting, possessing dynamism and resilience to thrive independently.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite.
