Our client are a growing Asset Manager (Alternatives & UCITS) who are looking to recruit a Risk Manager to have full responsibility for the monitor and internal control of all risk exposures for the company. The successful candidate will report directly to the General Manager and the Board.
Key responsibilities:
- Plan, design, and implement comprehensive risk management processes for the Company.
- Identify, monitor, and report on various risks including market, credit, operational, and cyber-security risks.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations for funds managed by the Company.
- Participate in ad-hoc projects to enhance internal control environments and interact with supervisory authorities.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to uphold risk management standards and contribute to the Risk Framework
Experience required:
- 5+ years' experience in Risk Management with experience in AIFs & UCITS funds
- Experience in financial and non-financial risk management
- Strong communication and capable of managing senior stakeholder relationships at General Manager & Board level
- Strong analytical skill set and numerical background, degree educated
- Advanced knowledge of Excel
- Fluent in English
