The Swiss Credit Risk team plays a crucial role within our organization, focusing on the meticulous structuring, implementation, review, and management of all client loans within Switzerland.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Evaluate and structure Life Insurance Policy financing, encompassing ULIP and Wrapper, including meticulous review of legal documentation.
  2. Analyze and structure both standard and non-standard credit transactions, conducting comprehensive collateral risk assessments, borrower risk evaluations (covering diverse entities such as financial institutions and funds), legal risk assessments (including regulatory and cross-border considerations), and compliance risk analysis.
  3. Provide essential support to the Swiss Head of Credit Risk and Group Credit, ensuring seamless operations.
  4. Collaborate with Chief Risk Officers (CROs) and Business Heads of both Swiss and international Business Units on various credit-related matters, ranging from structuring to margin calls.
  5. Uphold high standards of submission quality for review by the Group Head of Credits and Executive Credit Committee.
  6. Contribute to internal projects aimed at advancing and refining the credit risk function on both Swiss and international fronts.
  7. Manage credit reviews efficiently, ensuring timely completion and maintaining high-quality standards.

Skills and Experience:

  • Hold a university degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Possess a minimum of 10 years' experience in structured credit, with expertise in national and international financial markets.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English is essential; fluency in French, German, and Italian is advantageous.
  • Exhibit strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of various financial assets.
  • Have a solid understanding of life insurance policy financing, including risk assessment and documentation.
  • Ability to analyze corporate documents and financial statements proficiently.
  • Comprehensive understanding of legal aspects related to credit transactions is necessary.
  • Familiarity with Murahaba financing is a plus.
  • Proficiency in the MS Office suite is required.
  • Experience working with trusts and foundations as counterparties, particularly in relation to Life Insurance Policy Financing, is beneficial.
  • Capable of working independently and under pressure in a dynamic environment, while also embodying an entrepreneurial spirit and fostering teamwork.
