Process Engineer

A global Geothermal Power Plant company in Germany who are pioneering in energy development within the renewable energy field are looking for lead process engineer.
 

Profile:

• Participation in safety evaluations, conceptual design, and plant layout
• You define the technical specifications and choose appropriate vendors when choosing and developing the components.
• You will be there when the facilities are put into operation at the delivery and manufacturing sites.
• You are going to create and keep up with the plant documentation.
• You assist in advising potential clients and reviewing the technical specifications.
• You'll collaborate with people from several disciplinary fields, including process engineering, design, process automation, and production/assembly.

Requirments:

• Professional Engineer registered with APEGA
• 5 – 10 years of related experience
• Experience with thermodynamic process modelling software such as UniSim, HYSYS, or VMG
• Experience designing, building, and operating process plants from an owner’s perspective is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Visio
• Knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and directives
• Knowledge of process instrumentation and control
• Programming experience (VBA, Python, R, or MATLAB) is an asset
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is an asset
• Proven analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent communication abilities (being multilingual is an asset)
• Willing to travel
