JCW is recruiting on behalf of a life sciences platform company that is focused in biopharmaceutical formulation and drug delivery. We are looking for a patent counsel with a background in chemical engineering, chemistry, materials science, or related disciplines.
*This position is on-site in Boston, MA.*
Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing a patent strategy.
- Collaborating with with R&D team to identify patenting opportunities.
- Managing outside counsel on patent preparation and prosecution.
- Supporting on oppositions, post-grant challenges, licensing, disputes, etc. as needed.
Qualifications:
- J.D. and USPTO Registration.
- Ph.D. (Master's degree will also be considered) in chemical engineering, chemistry, materials science, or related fields.
- 5+ years of patent prosecution experience.
