We are seeking an experienced IP attorney to lead patent strategy and provide legal support for our client's portfolio. In this role, you will:
- Manage the global patent portfolio, including preparing and prosecuting patent applications
- Advise on patentability, validity, infringement, and enforcement issues
- Lead IP due diligence for business development matters
- Collaborate with and manage outside counsel
- Partner with R&D, business, and legal teams to align IP strategy with company goals
Qualifications include:
- J.D. from an accredited institution, membership in good standing of at least one state bar, and admitted and in good standing of the USPTO
- Ph.D. (Master's OK) in molecular biology or similar discipline
- 3-5+ years of legal experience, either at a law firm or in-house, with a focus on biotech or pharma patent prosecution
