Senior Reinsurance Accountant

JCW is currently recruiting on behalf of a global insurance firm looking to bring a Senior Reinsurance Accountant onto their growing Finance function. As a key player in the finance department, you will have the chance to work alongside industry experts, shape strategies, and contribute to the success of the renowned global operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of reinsurance accounting, including but not limited to, financial reporting, reconciliations, and analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of reinsurance transactions.
• Drive process improvements and efficiency initiatives within the reinsurance accounting function.
• Stay abreast of industry regulations and accounting standards to ensure compliance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in reinsurance accounting within the insurance industry.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
