Role Overview: As a Junior Compliance Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our operations adhere to regulatory requirements and industry best practices. This role offers an exciting opportunity for someone eager to learn and develop skills in compliance, Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures, and transaction monitoring. You will work closely with senior members of the compliance team, gaining valuable experience and training to progress in your career.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. KYC Compliance: Assist in conducting due diligence checks on new and existing clients to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. This includes gathering and verifying documentation, performing risk assessments, and maintaining accurate records.

  2. Transaction Monitoring: Support the monitoring of trading activities to detect and investigate any suspicious or unusual transactions. Learn to use compliance software and tools effectively to identify potential risks and escalate issues as necessary.

  3. Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry guidelines pertaining to commodities trading. Assist in reviewing policies and procedures to ensure they align with regulatory requirements and implementing necessary changes.

  4. Reporting and Documentation: Assist in preparing regulatory reports and documentation as required by regulatory authorities. Maintain organized records of compliance activities and findings for audit purposes.

  5. Training and Development: Take advantage of training opportunities provided to enhance knowledge and skills in compliance practices, regulatory requirements, and industry trends.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, law, or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop skills in compliance and regulatory matters.
  • Prior experience or knowledge of compliance, KYC, or transaction monitoring is a plus but not required.
