This is a high-visibility role leading audits across financial and operational control environments — with a strong focus on SOX compliance, GAAP reporting, and insurance regulatory frameworks. Process Development Technician | Contract-to-Hire | Medical Device Manufacturing Overview A growing medical device manufacturer specializing in catheter-based products is looking for a Process Development Technician to join their team on a 6-month contract-to-hire basis. This is a hands-on, floor-based role supporting the process development engineering team across multiple active projects. The right person will help free up engineering bandwidth by owning key day-to-day technical activities — this is not a builder role, and prior experience beyond assembly is essential. What You Will Be Doing Collecting data and running test parts in support of ongoing development projects Performing pull tests, part measurements, and floor-level qualification activities — understanding not just how to run tests, but why Attending project meetings with engineers to assess workload and contribute across multiple projects simultaneously Supporting and managing builds on the floor, working alongside operators Equipment management and calibrations Drafting and updating manufacturing documentation, including change order activities and travelers — GDP compliance and accuracy are critical in this environment Working in both cleanroom and general manufacturing environments, adhering to all applicable protocols What They Are Looking For Hands-on experience in medical device or catheter manufacturing — familiarity with reflowing catheter components is a strong plus Cleanroom experience with a solid understanding of what is and is not permissible in that environment Mechanical aptitude with experience running tests and maintaining equipment An intuitive troubleshooting mindset — someone who asks the right questions to fully understand the process and expected output Basic computer skills including spreadsheet use for data collection Strong GDP awareness and an understanding of why documentation accuracy matters, not just compliance for its own sake Good communication skills and the ability to work flexibly across multiple projects CDMO or OEM backgrounds are welcome Experience 3–7 years of relevant industry experience Open to candidates with less experience where aptitude, mechanical instinct, and the right train of thought are evident High school diploma or GED required; 2-year degree or vocational/apprenticeship training preferred
