VP - C&I Portfolio manager (middle market)

JCW is currently hiring an VP Portfolio Manager for an established commercial bank in central New Jersey. This rapidly growing bank is a large player in the commercial banking industry, sitting at $50 billion in assets and on pace to hit $100 billion. The ideal candidate would have experience managing commercial and industrial loans within their portfolio.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a $1.5 billion portfolio with average deal sizes $20 million.
• Prepare effective packages for credit approval circulation and to present packages to the required level of credit authority.
• Maintain relationships with new and existing customers while working with originators.
• Improve the overall credit quality of the bank’s portfolio.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in finance or accounting is preferred.
• Familiarity with banking products and services used by middle market companies, included but not limited to; treasury services, FX, SWAPs, high network owner typical asset financing.
