JCW is currently recruiting on behalf of a rapidly growing Property & Casualty Insurance Carrier who are looking to add an experienced commercial lines underwriter. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in commercial general liability and commercial property underwriting.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of commercial underwriting experience
- Advanced understanding of risk management concepts
- Familiarity with basic contracts and credit reports
Responsibilities:
- Assessing risks and making sound underwriting decisions
- Utilizing broad knowledge of Commercial P&C insurance and reinsurance to assess risk and its financial impacts on the business
- Maintaining multiline accounts and conducting policy reviews
