Third Party Risk Specialist

Our client are a leading FinTech in London who are currently looking to add to their Risk Management team. Specifically they are looking for someone who can be responsible for Third Party Risk Management, reporting to the Head of TPRM.

As a Third Party Risk Specialist, you will play a crucial role in evaluating, monitoring, and mitigating risks associated with our vendors and partners. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to risk frameworks and controls, enabling us to maintain the highest standards of operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments of third-party vendors, evaluating their compliance with industry regulations and internal risk policies.
• Develop and implement effective risk management strategies, controls, and mitigation plans to safeguard the organization's interests.
• Collaborate with procurement teams to assess vendor contracts and agreements, identifying potential risks and recommending necessary modifications.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory developments related to third-party risk management, incorporating best practices into our processes.
• Provide guidance and training to internal stakeholders on risk management procedures and protocols.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management, articulating risk profiles and recommended courses of action.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Proven experience (5+ years) in third-party risk management within the FinTech or financial services sector.
• Strong expertise in risk frameworks, controls, and mitigation strategies.
• In-depth knowledge of procurement processes and vendor management.
• Professional certifications such as Certified Third Party Risk Professional (CTPRP) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) are a plus.
• Exceptional analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
