JCW is currently hiring a Portfolio Manager I for a commercial bank in Richmond, VA. The ideal candidate would have hands on experience managing commercial participation and syndicated loans. Specific commercial & industrial loan management is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the loan process for participation and syndication groups from moment of loan application to loan closing.
- Assist lenders in gathering information from borrowers while working alongside credit analysts in order to properly underwrite credit.
- prepare credit memos, portfolio reports, industry reports, evaluate credit merits, and review loan documents.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in business, finance, or economics.
- Direct portfolio management or credit analyst experience.
- Experience in C&I company analysis.
