I am currently working with a prominent global financial advisory firm, based in Belgium. At present, they are looking for a Senior VAT Consultant to join their team. As a Senior VAT Consultant, you'll provide expert guidance on Value-Added Tax (VAT) matters to esteemed national and international clients. What You'll Do:
- Serve as the go-to advisor for VAT matters for national and international clients.
- Offer expert support and technical advice on VAT optimization and compliance.
- Oversee VAT projects, inspections, and regularizations.
- Lead compliance efforts for Belgian and international VAT requirements.
- Independently handle assignments, progressing to complex cases.
- Collaborate within the team and across different service lines.
- Contribute to the growth of the VAT practice.
What We're Looking For:
- Diploma in economics or law preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in accounting or financial services.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Enthusiastic team player, flexible and adaptable.
- Result-oriented mindset with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Fluent in English, Dutch/French is preffered.
- Proficiency in MS Office, PowerBI familiarity is advantageous.
