We are currently working on behalf of a leading consultancy in Luxembourg who are looking for an experienced candidate to join their Liquidation and Restructuring team. In this role, you will lead the management of liquidation processes, guiding underperforming and financially distressed businesses through complex wind-downs. You will collaborate with a diverse team of experts, working on a variety of assets, from private equity to listed securities. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage entities in liquidation, with a focus on investment funds, ensuring smooth execution from start to finish.
- Lead day-to-day operations of liquidating entities, including payment approvals, portfolio sales, and AML checks.
- Coordinate all aspects of the liquidation process, including accounting, tax, valuation, and legal considerations.
- Oversee the preparation of liquidation procedures, accounts, and liquidator's reports.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, contributing to proposals and practice development.
Experience Required:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within an advisory firm or financial institution.
- Proven expertise in accounting and the liquidation process.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Self-motivated, capable of working independently, and effective in team collaboration.
- Business fluency in English; proficiency in French or German is a strong asset.
