Senior KYC Analyst/ Team Lead opportunity within one of the fastest growing fintechs in the world – great career opportunity to accompany their growth across Europe and be responsible for the Czech clients from the offices in Ostrava.

You will be:

  • Analysing customer relationships, documentation, activity patterns, and transactions to detect potential suspicious activity or activity that is not consistent with the client’s profile and escalating as appropriate.
  • Complying with relevant legislative and regulatory standards, and internal processes and procedures.
  • Conducting monitoring on existing clients and updating data accordingly (clients would be local small and medium sized companies)
  • Identifying clients posing higher risk due to existence of red flags or other high-risk triggers.
  • Perform validation of CDD checks carried out by other members of the team
  • Complying with relevant legislative and regulatory standards, and internal processes and procedures.
  • Resolve day-to-day issues arising during the CDD process and escalate more complex challenges via the appropriate channel.

 

Your profile:

  • 5 years of experience of KYC and CDD processes and requirements, including the regulatory basis for these.
  • Advanced knowledge of red flags and AML typologies relevant to the payments/FX/front office/global markets space.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal – you are comfortable working on an international environment
  • Co-operative, and comfortable working in a team environment.
  • Adaptable, with the ability to cope with changing products, processes, and procedures.
  • Fluency in Czech and English is required, another European language is a plus.
