A well established and growing Medical Device company in Greater Boston is seeking a Sr. R&D Engineer to join their team. The client is looking for an individual with strong verification & validation skills for an innovative product development project.
Responsibilities:
- Day to day you will manage all aspects of the Verification and Validation program
- Develop test methods and test fixtures to support the design verification, validation and commercialization of new medical device products
- Perform hands-on and simulated testing for design verification and test method developments
- Lead/execute Test Method Validation (TMV, design verification tests, and test method transfer
Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of R&D experience within New Product Development.
- Experience with leading or executing Design Verification of disposable electromechanical medical devices.
