Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform independent credit review and enhance credit risk coverage for potential transactions based on the framework of internal credit policy and risk appetite
  • Draft credit review report and present the report to the Credit Committee and communicate with the Head Office to facilitate the credit application process. Perform management of legal documentation signing process and loan draw down
  • Undertake post- lending monitoring in a timely manner, proactively identify, quantify and monitor major credit risks both on portfolio and individual basis, and propose effective measures to mitigate the risks
  • Develop scenarios, perform scenario analysis and stress testing for credit risk s associated with the Bank's asset portfolio. Check the validity and completeness of the credit documents received from the Front Desk, archive and store the documents in a safe, confidential and orderly manner. Communicate with the regulators and supervisors and follow up closely the updated banking regulations in terms of credit risk management.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Science or Engineering
  • Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in a commercial bank dealing with credit review and monitoring
  • Sound knowledge and a solid background in country risk, industry risk, concentration risk, and credit risk analysis. Rich experiences in credit risk control and mitigation techniques both on collective and individual counterparty basis. Excellent communication skills with the regulators and supervisors. Professional fluency in spoken and written English, and intermediate knowledge in Mandarin
