Senior Audit Manager- Legal Spend

JCW is currently working on behalf of a legal services provider with an office based in New York City. They are seeking a Senior Audit Manager with a focus in Legal Spend to join their high-growth internal audit function. In this role you will be an active part of the department, with a focus on executing internal audits for law departments clients. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a legal bill audit in a law form, insurance company or legal services.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide corporate law department clients with a review of their law firms’ billings to achieve reductions in their legal spend
• Lead and conduct monthly training sessions for the Auditor team on common mistakes, key points, tips and methods for conducting invoice analysis
• Assist in project pricing development

Minimum requirements

• Bachelors degree required
• A minimum of 5 years experience in legal bill audit in a corporate legal department, law or insurance firm
• In-depth understanding of corporate law department and law firm operations and culture
