Job Description: Security Architecture Consultant
You will be upgrading and enhancing the existing security architecture and controls for our client and securing their OT infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that security measures are seamlessly integrated into the project's framework. This position demands a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, a proactive approach to identifying vulnerabilities, and the ability to implement robust security solutions tailored to the unique requirements of the robotics project.
Security Assessment and Analysis:
Security Architecture Design:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of the existing security architecture to identify weaknesses, vulnerabilities, and potential threats.
- Analyse security risks associated with the robotics project, including data integrity, confidentiality, and system availability.
Risk Management and Mitigation:
- Develop and design a robust security architecture framework aligned with industry best practices and regulatory standards.
- Define security requirements, protocols, and standards specific to the robotics project, considering its unique operational environment and challenges.
Security Controls Implementation:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize security risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Implement proactive measures to safeguard against cyber threats, including intrusion detection systems, firewalls, and encryption protocols.
Security Awareness and Training:
- Deploy and configure security controls to strengthen the overall security posture of the robotics project.
- Monitor the effectiveness of security controls and promptly address any emerging security issues or breaches.
- Conduct security awareness programs and training sessions to educate project stakeholders about cybersecurity best practices and protocols.
- Foster a culture of security consciousness and accountability within the organization.
- Ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity regulations, standards, and frameworks applicable to the robotics project.
- Stay abreast of evolving regulatory requirements and industry trends to proactively adapt security measures accordingly.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- A track record working in Operational Technology and infrastructure within a robotics environment.
- Proven experience 8+ years working as a Security Architect, Cybersecurity Consultant, or similar role, preferably within research and development environments.
- In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, risk management methodologies, and security architecture frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with security assessment tools, penetration testing techniques, and vulnerability management processes.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001, NIST, etc.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and address complex security challenges.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or GIAC are desirable.
