JOB DESCRIPTION

• Demonstrate and maintain an in-depth knowledge of the SBA SOP as well as knowledge of the various SBA programs
• Ability to perform a thorough analysis of equity injection verification
• Review all required loan terms and conditions as well as documentation for completeness, SBA program eligibility and accuracy
• Ability to review all legal searches, title report and internal reports, i.e., appraisals, environmental reports, and business valuations to ensure the reports are acceptable without discrepancies. 
• Review all SBA application, loan authorizations, SBA forms and draft legal documents for accuracy
• Ability to communicate effectively and constructively with attorneys, s underwriters, broker, portfolio managers and borrowers effectively to enable the loans to close efficiently
• Ability to review and occasionally negotiate third party reports (landlord waivers, subordination agreements, etc.)
• Promote a team work environment and actively participate as a team player
• Demonstrate strong loan documentation skills by producing clear, structurally accurate loan documents to ensure conformance with credit and SBA requirements
• Ensure all terms and conditions of the loan have been satisfied as per the approved credit memo
• Process loan closings in a timely manner to meet or exceed customer expectations
• Contribute to the company’s overall production, portfolio performance and reputation while striving to meet or exceed individual goals
• Maintain knowledge of all applicable SBA policies and procedures and company loan policy
• Ensure that all activities and work functions follow compliance requirements and SBA regulations
• Promote and participate in educational opportunities in SBA lending among colleagues, borrowers and the community if applicable
• Knowledge of laser pro a plus
• Knowledge of all types of SBA loans, (7a, 504, lines of credit, Borrowing base lines), EDA loans, CEMA loans, commercial loans, participations/syndications and loan modifications

Requirement

• Minimum 5 plus years of loan closing experience for SBA and commercial loans
