JCW are working with an international logistics and energy provider, searching for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join them in Rotterdam on a FTC until at least the end of 2025- likely the end of Q1 2026.

Your Experience & Qualifications:
  • You are an experienced quality surveyor.
  • Have worked with liquid terminals or oil refinery experience.
  • You must be able to decipher knowledge relating to the cost reporting and progression reports.
  • Heavy knowledge and practical work experience across electrical and instrumentation surveying.
  • Be able to collaborate effectively with project managers to progress the project.
  • Ideally you will speak both Dutch and English.
Your responsibilities:
  • Quantity measurement for Subcontractors work.
  • Keeping back-up record of completed works in comparison with BOQs.
  • Review of Subcontractor payments (Quantities and Rates).
  • Review of quantities related to any variation or claim.
  • Review on final measure.
  • Communication and getting directions from supervisors during project construction phase until close-out.

Primary Duties:
  • Assist the team pro-actively to meet project requirements, review and comment on quantities and rates for subcontractors’ interim payments.
  • Maintain records of materials, manpower and equipment.
  • Assist in determining the extent and value of work executed for interim payments to subcontractors.
  • Assist in assessing quantities related to contract or subcontract variations or claims.
  • Coordinate, verify and keep track of third-party contractors.
  • Implementation and adherence to HSE and Quality plans.
  • Carry out other related duties as directed by the supervisors.
  • Report progress to the stakeholders.

Experience in quantity survey, technical knowledge, take-off, site measurement, rates and payments specifically in the Oil, Gas or commodities industry.
