Main Responsibilities:

As a Project Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the supervision and efficient management of ongoing financing and projects, with a particular focus on treasury and accounting. You will regularly interact with financial institutions, ensuring accurate fund disbursements, while collaborating with legal consultants to ensure comprehensive and compliant documentation. You will also actively participate in project financing processes, contributing to initiatives with durations ranging from 8 months to one year.

Detailed Responsibilities:

  1. Financing and Treasury Management:

    • Coordinate and ensure the comprehensive management of financing related to ongoing projects.
    • Oversee treasury functions, managing cash flows, and optimizing financial resources.
    • Establish and maintain regular relationships with partner financial institutions.
  2. Disbursement and Accounting Management:

    • Proactively communicate with banks and agents to ensure smooth fund disbursements.
    • Ensure accurate tracking of disbursements and maintain proper accounting documentation.
    • Collaborate with the accounting team to reconcile financial transactions.
  3. Legal Documentation:

    • Collaborate with legal consultants to ensure compliance of legal documentation associated with financing and projects.
    • Ensure all financial and legal documents are complete, accurate, and compliant with regulations.
  4. Active Participation in Project Financing:

    • Participate in meetings related to project financing, providing relevant financial information and analysis.
    • Actively involve in the planning and execution of financing initiatives.
  5. Medium-Term Projects:

    • Manage projects with durations ranging from 8 months to one year, ensuring efficient execution and adherence to deadlines.
    • Coordinate project-related activities to achieve set objectives.

Requirements:

  • University degree in finance, project management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in project financing management with a focus on treasury and accounting.
  • Fluent in French and English (another language such as Chinese or Spanish would be great)
  • Strong skills in communication, negotiation, and financial analysis.
  • Excellent understanding of legal and accounting aspects related to project financing.
  • Ability to work effectively within tight deadlines.
