Job Title: Sales Manager - Reinsurance (Paris, France)

As we continue to expand our footprint across Europe, we are seeking a talented Sales Manager to drive our sales strategy and lead our team of Country Managers across five key locations.

Position Overview: As the Sales Manager for our reinsurance company, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing strategic sales initiatives to drive revenue growth and market expansion. Reporting directly to the Sales Director, you will be responsible for collaborating with Country Managers in five European locations to achieve sales targets and enhance client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the company's objectives and market trends.
  2. Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to Country Managers, fostering a high-performance sales culture and ensuring alignment with corporate goals.
  3. Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging opportunities, trends, and competitive threats, and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
  4. Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored reinsurance solutions.
  5. Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Monitor sales performance, track key metrics, and provide regular reports and insights to senior management.
  6. Training and Development: Provide training, coaching, and support to Country Managers to enhance their sales skills and knowledge of reinsurance products.
  7. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other departments such as underwriting, risk management, and finance to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and initiatives.
  8. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies, and mitigate risks associated with sales activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in sales management, preferably in the reinsurance industry or financial services sector.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a focus on driving revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and market trends to inform decision-making.
  • Fluency in English and French; additional European languages a plus.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to visit regional offices and meet with clients as needed.

Location: Paris, France (with travel to other European locations as required)
