IT Senior Associate (Application Controls)

JCW is working on behalf of a of large financial services firm looking to add a qualified candidate to fill an IT Senior Auditor role. Your role will be to provide oversight on audits and advisory projects and to help steer the focus areas for the IT Audit team. You will be focusing on technology audits and advisory services. This role will be hybrid 3 days a week in their New York's office.

Day-to-day you will:

• Participate in ongoing departmental audit planning and risk assessments and complete planning deliverables
• Lead large sections of engagements and oversee the work performed by junior staff members
• Identify opportunities for improvement in the design and effectiveness of controls

You should apply if you:

• Ideally have 3+ years' experience working within Internal Audit in a financial services environment
• Have a deep understanding of ITGC and technology applications
• Have a Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline (Finance, Accounting, etc.)
