Position Overview: In collaboration with our esteemed client, we are currently seeking a dynamic and seasoned Head of Treasury. The successful candidate will be pivotal in managing and optimizing the bank's treasury functions, contributing significantly to the stability and growth of its financial operations.
- Strategic Treasury Management:
- Develop and implement effective treasury strategies aligned with the bank's overarching goals.
- Oversee liquidity management, interest rate risk, and balance sheet optimization.
- Monitor and analyze market trends to identify opportunities and risks.
- Implement robust risk management practices to safeguard the bank's financial position.
- Evaluate and manage the bank's exposure to market, credit, and liquidity risks.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Financial Modeling and Analysis:
- Lead financial modeling and analysis to support decision-making processes.
- Conduct stress testing and scenario analysis to assess potential impacts on the bank's treasury.
- Manage and mentor a team of treasury professionals.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the treasury department.
- Cultivate strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Collaborate with other departments to align treasury strategies with the overall business strategy.
- We are looking for individuals who have held the same or a comparable role within a reputable bank.
- Fluent in German (both written and spoken).
- Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing treasury strategies.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, instruments, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective leadership and team management capabilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field. A relevant postgraduate degree (e.g., MBA, CFA) is a plus.
