Electrical network planner - onshore wind and PV

We are looking for a full-time and permanent renewable energy network planner (m/f/d) for our Renewables Development Deutschland GmbH location in Hamburg.

Your tasks
  • Development of network solutions for PV and onshore wind projects: from the initial project idea through application, contract conclusion and support to the commissioning of the systems and their ongoing operation
  • Determination, testing and evaluation of the network connection points as well as planning and project planning of the network connection (MS and HS level), taking into account the technical connection conditions of the relevant network operators
  • Simulation and design of electrical systems including network calculations, cable route planning, design of protection technology and economic evaluation of the network connection concept
  • Preparation of all necessary documents: construction drawings, single line diagrams, certification documents and other necessary documents for network connection and commissioning
  • Coordination and negotiations with network operators, certifiers, station supplying companies as well as cable and civil engineering companies, among others
your profile
  • University degree in electrical engineering, energy systems, renewable energy or related field
  • At least four years of experience as an electrical network planner or in a comparable position.
  • Experience with procurement procedures according to the HAOI and VOB
  • Knowledge of AutoCad LT or comparable, MS Visio, California
  • “Hands on engineering” with the ability to work independently, in a structured and goal-oriented manner
  • Proficient in German and English
  • In-depth knowledge of technical norms and standards, legislation and regulation in connection with network connections and systems in Germany, in particular VDE-AR-N- 4110/4120
  • Medium voltage switching authorization is an advantage
