JCW have been engaged regarding this role, by a global consultancy as they have obtained a Big Data platform project with a multi-national investment bank.

Day-to-day you will:

• Support in the analysis of the data and the preparation of additional big data and data analysis technologies, like data modelling, wrangling, pipelines implementation or building machine learning models

You should apply if:

• Review and IT testing of methodology to match clients via name matching
• At least 5 years of experience in Data Analytics and related tools (e.g. Python, R, Java/Scala, Spark, and SQL), ideally combined with a technology background in big-data, non-relational data bases and expertise with Bash
• Experience working in agile environments
• Familiarity with assembling and analysing data sets from disparate sources, applying quantitative methodologies, computational frameworks, and systems
• Ability to identify the best methodologies in analytics/Machine Learning for the specific problem to solve
• Ability to develop reliable, autonomous, and scalable data pipelines
• Experience in setting automated testing frameworks and Continuous Integration
