Complaints Admissions Associate

The strategy of the Complaints Handling team is to oversee the interests of policyholders so they receive fair treatment in terms of buying policies from competent intermediaries and to make sure that their claims and complaints are properly and fairly handled.


The Complaints & Admissions Associate will have two major activities:
  • Registration and oversight of delegated authority and complaint handling in the EEA.
  • Oversight of EEA policyholder complaints being handled by coverholders and third party administrators to ensure that they are handled appropriately, and that EEA regulatory requirements are adhered to.
  • To provide guidance to policyholders, coverholders and third party administrators with regard to Complaints both verbally and in writing
  • To build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • To oversee the data within the Complaints Monitoring databases to ensure accuracy of international regulatory reports
  • To review on an ongoing basis work processes with a view to continual improvement in the handling of complaints
  • Deliver a high level of customer service
  • Ensure all control failures are highlight to the Service Manager, so that they can be report on the Risk Incident Return/ Monthly Notification Return
  • 5-10 years of complaints / claims handling experience.
  • Detailed knowledge of general insurance matters
  • Detailed knowledge of claims investigation and settlement procedures
  • Proven negotiation and influencing skills
