Commercial Credit Underwriter

JCW is currently hiring for a Commercial Credit Underwriter for a growing commercial bank in Houston, TX. This bank will provide you the opportunity to work with some of the most talented professionals in the industry while working on a flexible hybrid schedule. Responsibilities:

• Work along side Loan Officers, clients, and prospected clients, to prepare existing money and new money loan requests.
• Prepare credit memos and credit approval packages, and evaluate credit worthiness by analyzing financial statements and tax returns.
• Underwriter commercial real estate, commercial & industrial, construction, and small business administration loans.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree with 1-4 years related experience.
• Knowledge of lending operations and closing procedures.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts to apply math concepts.
