Accounts Payable Specialist - Brokerage

JCW is partnering with a leading global trading firm who is looking to bring on a Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist to join their team in their Chicago HQ. If you are wanting to take charge of a full life cycle AP/AR process, have a well rounded work-life balance, and enjoy working in a collaborative environment then this role is for you! Hybrid 3 days on-site and 2 days remote.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain journal entries and related support for month-end close and audits
• Cross-train on other AP/AR processes; cross-train others on brokerage process
• Demonstrate a high level of ownership and precision in owning the processing, coding, maintenance of approvals, and payment set-up for brokerage invoices

Requirements:

• 2+ years’ experience working in full life cycle of AP/AR
• Knowledge of trading industry or brokerage business a plus
• Comfortable organizing and interpret large amounts of data across the business
