What is the most important skill in your role?

Listening. When I am speaking to my candidates its important to understand what they are looking for. People do not really like to be sold to especially when they are not looking for what you are selling. But when you listen to them you can then sell back to them what they’re looking for. This keeps them engaged.

Do not judge a book by its cover! I have seen 1000s of CVs and sometimes the CV does not look great, but the candidate comes across great on phone.
