Position Overview:
I am currently working with a leading bank based in The Hague. At present they are looking for a Risk Manager in Risk Analytics & Model Validation to join their team. In this position, you'll enjoy significant responsibilities and direct engagement with senior management, enabling you to directly impact both the bank and its clients. This unique opportunity places you at the heart of a dynamic bank where your analytical skills will be highly valued.

You will be responsible for:
  • Validating all critical models within the bank, with a focus on IRB and IFRS9 models.
  • Conducting bank-wide analysis of capital usage, owning and developing the bank's Economic Capital framework.
  • Developing and maintaining the bank's model risk-related policies and standards.
  • Collaborating with business and other risk teams to assess risks, model transactions, and analyze financial models.

You'll also have the chance to contribute to the ongoing development of the bank's Economic Capital framework.

To excel in this role, you should bring:
  • A completed university degree in subjects like econometrics, mathematics, or engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in financial model development and/or validation.
  • Knowledge and practical experience with regulatory requirements (BIS, EBA, CRD, IFRS).
  • Proficiency in a range of modelling software (Excel, VBA, Matlab, Python).
