Role Purpose:  The Programme Manager holds the responsibility of managing the multi-phase project by overseeing the overall project plan and interdependencies between vendor, IT and Project team.  The manager ensures that workstreams required to deliver the plan are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the credit system quality and functional requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the overall Programme and project plan, ensuring that all workstreams are aligned the project goals and objectives. Work closely with project managers and team leads to ensure the successful delivery of the project. 
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive programme plan that includes project schedules, budget and milestones.  Regularly update the plan and communicate progress to all stakeholders to ensure everyone remains aligned with project progress, goals and objectives.
  • Oversee the programme’s risk management plans and work closely with project managers and team leads to identify and manage risks.
  • Communicate programme progress to all stakeholders including management, project teams and external partners.  Prepare and deliver regular progress reports.
  • Ensure project meets expected system capability and quality standards.  Report on deviations and exceptions proposed by vendor and project team through escalation and reporting.
