Network Services Security - Compliance and Governance

Are you looking for a new challenge in a compliance professional role? We are currently looking for an experienced individual to join our security team, in response to the incoming telecom security act.

The successful candidate will have a 50/50 split between compliance and security engineering, and should have a background in security engineering and knowledge/awareness of concepts within application security, networking security and associated areas. 

This role offers a great chance to work in a highly dynamic environment, working on critical projects and making a real impact on the security of our organisation. The role will offer a hybrid working model with 3 days in the office. The client has sites across the UK in most major cities so the individual will have the choice to work from any of the office locations. 

We are looking for a candidate who has:

- Experience in compliance, security engineering, and application and/or network security
- Proven ability to deliver projects on time and to budget
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A keen interest in staying up to date with the latest security technologies
- An eye for detail and an ability to think outside the box

You will have the opportunity to develop and implement new security processes, and to design and build security engineering solutions. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining security policies and procedures, as well as educating staff on security best practices.
