JCW are currently working with specialist in cyclical asset management with a focus on capital preservation, They are looking for an Investment Risk Controller to join their team.

 Your ??responsibilities:
  • Filing and monitoring of legal and contractual investment restrictions of the public and special funds (UCITS and AIF) 
  • Contact person for all questions relating to investment compliance, clarification of related admissibility and eligibility issues
  • Implementation of the ESG policy in the managed funds: filing and monitoring of ESG criteria in the investment process and processing of data from ESG data providers
  • Preparation of evaluations of market, counterparty, credit, liquidity and operational risks at company level and at the level of the managed funds
  • Execution of middle office activities (technical setup of new funds, maintenance of counterparty relationships, etc.) and performance of other interface tasks between front office (portfolio management) and back office (securities processing)
  • Main responsible administrator for Bloomberg and the used Bloomberg applications (AIM, FIRM, BRKX, etc.)

Your Profile:
  • University or technical college degree in the field of business administration, banking & finance, business informatics, mathematics or law or equivalent training
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in the area of ??investment controlling of an asset manager, a bank or a financial services company
  • Experience with one of the recognized investment compliance tools to monitor compliance with investment restrictions (Bloomberg CMGR, Charles River, SimCorp Dimension etc.)
  • In-depth knowledge of financial instruments, including derivatives, and relevant regulatory requirements in various jurisdictions
  • Excellent knowledge of common business software, especially Excel and Word
  • Interest in problems in asset management and competence in regulatory issues
  • Very good German and English
