JCW are currently working with leading tech company in radio frequency and x-ray technology. They are looking for a Head of Accounting to join their growing team.
Your Responsibilities:
Your Responsibilities:
- Effective safeguarding of the bookkeeping and monthly closing process of two entities according to OR and IFRS, including reporting to Group Accounting
- Responsible management of the general ledger and all sub-ledgers (accounts payable, accounts receivable and asset accounting)
- Management of the accounting team (5 employees), including target-related support and further development in accordance with our management principles
- Management of the closing process and related tasks in close cooperation with the local controlling team and the accounting team of the subsidiaries
- Ensuring legal, accounting and tax requirements, including reporting to the responsible authorities
- Maintenance and ongoing optimization of systems and processes (SAP, Hyperion, ICS, manuals, etc.)
- Close cooperation with internal and external auditors
- Participation in group-wide finance projects
Your Profile:
- Bachelor/Master degree in Finance & Accounting or equivalent
- Several years of professional experience in the field of accounting, ideally in an international environment
- Team management experience is required
- Strong IT affinity and very good IT application knowledge (SAP FI, ??Hyperion, MS Office)
- Very good knowledge of spoken and written German and English
