Operating throughout Switzerland, my client offers, mobile energy solutions, including heating, cooling, air services, as well as drying and water damage restoration. They are looking for a candidate from the Southern part of Germany to work in their Swiss HQ close to the German border.

We are actively searching for a dedicated and seasoned Financial Specialist to join their team at their Diessenhofen headquarters. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial foundation of their subsidiary in Germany.

Key Responsibilities:

As the Financial & Accounting Specialist, you will assume responsibility for managing the accounting functions and associated duties of their subsidiary in Germany. Your key responsibilities will encompass:

  • Implementing streamlined financial processes for improved efficiency.
  • Compiling monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Overseeing VAT-related matters.
  • Performing comprehensive financial analyses and crafting reports for senior management.
  • Providing valuable support in liquidity and financial planning, including budget preparation and forecasting.
  • Actively engaging and representing the finance department within the broader Group.

Your profile:

To excel in this role, we seek candidates with the following qualifications:

  • A track record of several years in a similar financial role.
  • Completion of advanced finance and accounting training or certifications.
  • Proficiency in HGB (German Commercial Code) and familiarity with German tax regulations.
  • Strong command of subsidiary ledger management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the German language.
  • High level of IT proficiency, particularly in MS Office. (Knowledge of Abacus and DATEV is advantageous).
  • A structured, detail-oriented, and precise approach to your work.
