JCW appoints Marketing Director

The JCW Group has appointed Daniel Evans as its Marketing Director. A recruitment marketing specialist, Evans has nearly 14 years of experience in recruitment marketing. Having started his career at recruitment giant Hays, Evans was Head of Marketing at GCS and most recently led the global marketing function at Roc Search.  Evans will be responsible for the global marketing of JCW's three specialist brands - JCW, Catalyst Life Sciences and Cybernetic Search, and will report directly into Jamie Woods, CEO and founder of the JCW Group.

Evans commented, “I’ve been watching JCW’s growth with interest over the last few years and I’m incredibly lucky to get the opportunity to lead the marketing function.  I was impressed with the clear business strategy for continued growth, and most importantly for me personally, I am excited at how the leadership team see the value of marketing in helping the business achieve its goals.”

Woods added, “We’re a bit of a challenge for a marketer – 5 offices, 3 separate brands, and going through an unprecedented period of rapid growth.  We’re not looking to slow down and need a world-class marketing function to help ensure that we get to where we’re going.  There’s a lot of work to be done until we’ve the best marketing function out there, but that’s what we’re looking to do and I’m very confident that Daniel is the person to get us there.”

JCW was founded in 2007 as a financial services recruitment business in London. Now the JCW Group, the business has three brands; JCW, Catalyst Life Sciences and Cybernetic Search with offices in London, Frankfurt, New York and Los Angeles.
